Something’s Fishy in Here
You ever cook a delicious fish dinner but can’t get rid of that funky fish odor in your place? You don’t want to use Febreeze – which doesn’t work anyway unless you spray a whole gang of it. So you resort to opening the windows, burning incense, maybe some sage… to try to be a little more organic about the whole thing. And it still doesn’t work. Well, no more funky fish drama! Use cinnamon sticks. In a small saucepan, boil about 3-4 cinnamon sticks in water before you start cooking. Keep it boiling throughout your meal (you’ll have to replenish water as you go) and continue boiling after dinner for at least 10-15 minutes depending on how pungent the odor. You’re done…and so is that funky fish odor.
